Abstract: In order to improve the driver's perception accuracy of road alignment changes when the sight distance decreases, and to ensure the driving stability and safety, the method of setting dynamic alignment signs on the road was studied. Considering the geometric parameters of road horizontal curve and the requirement of driver's safe driving sight under the influence of visibility, geometric equations of horizontal curve section and driving sight adapting to visibility variation were constructed, and the calculation method of optimizing the starting position and setting spacing was put forward. The validity of the proposed method was verified by driving simulation tests. The results show that after setting dynamic linear induction signs by the above method, the vehicle speed difference in curved road has little change, the lane offset is reduced, and the steering wheel angle amplitude is reduced.
