Abstract:

To address the problems of limited working space, unstable lifting of heavy loads, and high safety risks during the disassembly and assembly of mining truck steering knuckles, the motion characteristics and working space of the lifting mechanism in a novel disassembly and assembly device were analyzed. By establishing a kinematic model based on the improved D-H parameter method, combined with numerical calculation and multibody dynamics simulation methods, the compatibility between the mechanism's working space and the under-truck maintenance area was verified, with a safety margin of no less than 400 mm in all directions. Dynamic simulation shows that the mechanism operates smoothly with controllable vibration under rated load. Comprehensive tests in a simulated environment further confirm that the mechanism is reliable and accurate in operation, improving the disassembly and assembly efficiency of the steering knuckle by approximately 56% and reducing the sway amplitude of heavy loads by more than 85%, thereby significantly enhancing operational safety and efficiency.
