Sensor based information integrated safety protection system for live working

Abstract: In order to effectively ensure the safety of workers during live working, a safety protection system for live working was worked out according to the statistics of unsafe behavior of workers. A video detection device and an ultrasonic ranging sensor are installed at appropriate positions of the tower to quickly detect the distance between the worker and the surrounding crossarm, the tower body and other charged bodies, to determine whether the safety distance is beyond the limit. The parameters of pulse, body temperature, oxygen saturation and electrocardiogram signal of the worker can be detected through the wearable device to identify and warn the safety hazards quickly during the working. And the worker is reminded by auditory way to grasp the abnormal conditions during the operation in real time. The audio and video information on the job site is transmitted to the on-site command unit and the control command center through the 4G wireless network. The results show that the live working safety protection system can avoid the occurrence of safety accidents during live working.
