Abstract: In order to optimize the scheduling scheme of rail-mountedgantry crane and reduce the interference of safe distance to the operation ofloading and unloading equipment, a hybrid scheduling model of flexible range of rail-mountedgantry crane was established, and the loading and unloading task allocation scheme was determined by dynamically adjusting the distance between rail-mounted gantry cranes. The model usedgenetic algorithm to establish the time-position matrix to approximate the position of the gantry crane at each time point. To verify the validity of the model, an example with 65 shipment tasks was selectedto carry out case study. The results show that the flexible range hybrid scheduling model can reduce the total time of loading and unloading tasks by 4.10% and the deadhead time of rail-mountedgantry crane by 7.24% on the premise of ensuring the safe distance between rail-mountedgantry cranes.
