Abstract: To avoid the accumulation of muscular fatigue for workers and prevent them from developing WMSDs,a FD-RPE evaluation model of muscular fatigue was built.A simulated pallet truck pulling task was designed and 10 college male students were recruited as participants.Maximum values of force of their right arms were measured and their RPE was recorded according to Borg CR-10 scale. Then,FD was normalized and 3 evaluation models of muscular fatigue of upper extremity for pulling task over posture and load were built. At last, differences among models were analyzed according to the experiment conditions. Results show that there is a linear relationship between RPE and FD and it might be posture specific, and that the proposed models are effective and capable of evaluating the muscular fatigue of workers for pulling task, contributing to the monitoring of muscular fatigue and tasks analysis.

Key words: pulling task, muscular fatigue, ratings of perceived exertion (RPE), force decrease (FD), work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs)
