Safety design on electric system of large-scale railroad maintenance machinery

Abstract: Safety design on electric system of large railroad maintenance machinery is important to ensuring the safe and reliable operation of construction machinery. In order to improve the reliability of safety design,the factors affecting the safety of the design of large railroad maintenance machinery was analyzed from three perspectives: person, equipment and environment. The safety design of the electric system was expounded in terms of the safety selection of circuit breaker and wire, electrical control, communication system, security interlock control circuit and emergency circuit. Product selection and design ideas were also analyzed. Theresults show that among all security impact factors,human is the subjective factor,while the machine and the ring are the objective ones. The safety design of electrical system can effectively reduce the failure rate.The safety design of electrical system is helpful to ensuring the safe operation of the large-scale maintenance machineryand to control the safety from the source.
