Abstract: In order to improve the evaluation of the dust removal effect of coal mine dust protection facilities, a quantitative evaluation method with fuzzy control theory was developed. Firstly, a multi-level assessment index system was established for the dust protection facilities, and membership functions of the evaluation factors were constructed with Logistic equation as the main body. Secondly, based on the fuzzy control theory, a fuzzifier and a defuzzifier of evaluation universe were studied and established, and the weights of the evaluation factors were determined by using AHP. A mathematical model of FCQE was built. Finally, a quantitative evaluation was carried out at a certain mine heading face. The results show that the FCQE method improves the way to obtain the evaluation universe in AHP, which means there is no longer the need to rely on the experts' judgment (the expert knowledge is integrated into the weight of the evaluation factors), so that the quantitative evaluation can be achieved quickly after collecting the data directly, and that the evaluation results conform to the actual situation.
