Application research on railway passenger safety system based on risk management

Abstract: In order to reduce the insecurity problem caused by uncertain factors of railway passenger transport, and improve the safety of transportation, the risk events were identified from 4 aspects of railway passenger transport personnel, equipment, environment and managementbasedon analyzing the current situation of railway passenger transport system risk management. Risk analysis and evaluation model were set up. The railway passenger safety management system was analyzed, and the risk events were determined, and then the targeted risk control strategies were formulated. The results show that, the main risk source of railway passenger transport is the personnel factor. The main cause of stampede risk is crowds at the entrance of the station and at the ticket office. The risk assessment model is helpful to improve the accuracy of risk assessment. The risk control strategies set according to the results of its evaluation can effectively reduce the occurrence of different types of risk events.
