    In order to improve the safety performance of railway locomotive operation and management, based on the theory of psychological capital, the scale was designed, and the questionnaire data of 870 locomotive attendants in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou Railway Bureau was analyzed. From the 2 levels of individual and railway management, the psychological capital training and improvement suggestions of locomotive crew were put forward. The results show thatthe overall psychological capital of railway locomotive drivers is good; and the safety relationship performance of railway locomotives is better than that of safety tasks performance. The psychological capital of railway locomotive drivers can significantly predict safety performance.

    With the rapid development of China′s high-speed railway technology, the locomotive drivers, taking the most critical position, are facing a growing job stress brought about by occupational stress, hence bringing driving safety risks. The present study examined the status of occupational stress and the relationship between occupational stress and safety performance among 870 locomotive drivers. The results show that the occupational role of locomotive drivers is significantly higher than the male norm, while the personal resources are lower than male norm. The psychological stress response and the somatic stress response are significant negative correlation with safety compliance performance respectively. Work stress response, psychological stress response and somatic stress response are significant negative correlation with work dedication in safety participation performance. The relationship between interpersonal stress response and safety performance is not significant.

    The use of modern information technology can significantly improve the efficiency of the traditional accident scene investigation and provide great convenience for the analysis of late accident, so a railway accident scene digital modeling and dynamic simulation analysis system were developed, including accident data collection, accident scene simulationmodeling and accident analysis and simulation which realized the accident scene data collecting, 2D and 3D modeling, the accident process dynamic simulating and some other functions. The results show that digital modeling and dynamic simulation can be applied to railway accident analysis and railway safety teaching and training.

    On the basis of analyzing feature of middle and low speed linear induction motor for maglev train, the simulated model of regenerate breaking dynamic network for middle and low speed maglev train was studied and dynamic net simulation model was established and the massive nonlinear equations were calculated thus g knowing the variation of grid voltage transformation during regenerate breaking. In order to maintain matrix positive for object function Hesse, improved Broyden rank 1 algorithm was adopted and Beijing maglev S1 line project was used as calculating object and the grid voltage variation rate on occasion of stable motion was calculated on. The results show that Broyden rank 1 algorithm requires low initial value of iterative computation with comparison of traditional Newton-Raphson method. The convergence rate is improved effectively and the divergence of simulated calculation results is restrained.

    In order to strengthen the fusion of image recognition and processing technology with railway equipment manufacturing equipment and improve the level of railway safety control, it is pointed out that the key to control the safety of the axle of the locomotive is the key to ensure the professional health of the operator and the important purpose of safety work. The working mechanism of the system was compared and analyzed with field test data and historical data. The results show that the axle detection system based on image processing can not only improve the quality of the equipment, effectively control the safety of the railway operation, but also shorten the contact time of the operator in the occupational health and safety risk source, and effectively protect the professional health of the operator.

    In order to perfect the perimeter invasion alarm system for high speed railway, the front-end monitoring technology of the perimeter intrusion system was compared and analyzed. Through investigating the use of the system in the test section, from the perspective of accumulating feature data, improving the ability of emergency response, reducing the blind area of the camera, and reducing the false alarm rate, the problems existing in the trial stage of the system were analyzed, and according to the current situation of national standards and industry standards, the relevant suggestions were put forward. The analysis shows that this system can effectively reduce the intrusion of foreign objects into the boundary of high-speed railways by collecting, analyzing, tracking, and manually calculating the target′s behavior, and making intelligent video analysis based on computers, so as to achieve the purpose of judging and warning the invading things. However, further optimization is still needed.

    In order to improve the speed of passengers entering the station and improve the level of railway safety and security, an improved technical solution for the existing self-service recognition station system was proposed. Using the intelligent matching systems and algorithms, combined with existing video systems, the information data were shared through the railway ticketing system and public security identity authentication system (or third-party authentication system), hence realizing the goal of entering the station by scanning the passenger′s face and improve passenger travel speed. This will effectively alleviate the large number of passengers stranded at the station and further enhance the safety and security of the railway. The results show that the improved system has increased the ability to send information to inform users, matching face recognition functions with back-office information and intelligent matching, ensuring the accuracy of ticket checking work, avoiding the situation of a large number of passengers staying at the station, and improving passenger service quality. The system will also interface with the police database to verify the presence of passengers at risk.

    In order to ensure the safety of high-speed railway, real-time, accurate and reliable monitoring of railway disasters was essential. The disaster prevention and safe monitoring system for high speed railway was studied and designed. The schemes of disaster prevention and safety monitoring system at home and abroad were summarized. By analyzing the types of disasters in China high-speed railways, the protection needs of all kinds of disasters at different disaster levels was discussed. According to the requirement of the protection, the structure of the disaster prevention and safety monitoring system, the terminal of the system, the monitoring data center, the field monitoring equipment and the transmission network scheme were designed; The article combined with the related railway project, analyzed and researched the composing, monitoring function, system setting and the equipment layout requirements for high-speed railway disaster prevention and safety monitoring system. A complete design scheme of high-speed railway disaster prevention and safety monitoring system was provided. Some beneficial references to the system design and construction was offered.

    To guarantee the curving safety of six-axle heavy-haul locomotive subjected to the coupler compressive force, the dynamic model of HXD locomotive was established based on the theory of multi-body dynamics. In the model, the restoring ability of coupler was considered. Taking the two connected locomotives as research objects, the curving performances in the idling case and that under the coupler compressive force were analyzed. The results show that the dynamic indices can meet the safety requirements as the locomotives run without large coupler forces. Once the 200 ton coupler force is applied in the locomotives negotiating a curved track with 300 m radius, the running safety will be threatened with the coupler free swing angle increasing. If the free swing angle reaches 4°, the wheel set lateral force exceeds the safety limit value and the wheel-load reduction rate is also close to the limit value. The coupler free swing angle should be limited within 3.5°.

    In order to explore the cause of railway signal power accident,analyze the railway signal power accident,sort out the various factors leading to the signal power accident,the social network analysis method was applied to study the correlation of various factors. The key factors causing the accident of signal power supply were identified. The results show that the factors of human and material in the signal power supply accident are the direct cause, and the factors of environment and management are indirect causes and they influence each other. Weak safety awareness at all levels, lack of safety training, imperfect regulations, weak supervision and management of production safety and insufficient security investment are the key factors forthe signal power accidents. Bad safety environment is another important factor, it often happens that the construction units or individuals who operate illegally in the railway line damage the electric and signal cables.

    Combined with the background of the Ukrainian dual-current electric locomotive project, in order to improve the quality of the dual-current electric locomotive equipment, the magnetic residual phenomenon of the dual-current electric locomotive traction transformer was studied, and a zero-capacitance voltage control strategy was put forward. The signal that the voltage of the stabilizing capacitor above zero was used as the trigger of the switch device of the four-quadrant converter, and the demagnetization current was generated. Based on the parameters of the traction system of the Ukrainian double-current locomotive, a simulation model was established to obtain the demagnetization solution of the traction transformer of the double-flow electric locomotive.

    Taking the railway tunnel collapse accident as the research object, the 18 risk factors summarized from the accident were analyzed hierarchically using the ISM technology, the relationship between the risk factors was found out, and the structural model of the risk factors of the collapse of the railway tunnel was established. Eight underlying risk factors leading to landslide accidents were identified: inadequate safety management, poor geological survey, improper excavation method selected, insufficient sneeze quality, long closing cycle, severe bias, poor geological conditions Groundwater seepage. The weighted normalized information entropy of the underlying risk factors was obtained through direct risk factors and intermediate risk factors. It is concluded that the selection of groundwater seepage, special adverse geology, and excavation methods has a greater impact on tunnel collapse and provides ideas for reducing tunnel collapse accidents.

    In order to optimize the construction and management and prevent accidents, taking railway engineering construction management behavior′s influence on the quality safety accident reasons as the research subject, using the theory of the accident cause, on the basis of typical statistical analysis on the railway engineering, how railway construction management behavior defects affect the causes of accidents was studied and analyzed and the correlation degree between management behavior and the causes of the safety accidents was determined.     In order to avoid accidents caused by railway perimeter risk and ensure the safety of railway transportation, the main current technologies of perimeter safety system with the existing physical protection conditions and personnel organization in the railway perimeter were studied and the infrared detection, electronic fence, fiber vibration, video monitor and other technical means were analyzed. Their advantages and disadvantages are compared with each other and the technical characteristics are analyzed. According to different safety requirements and protection demands in different circumstances, such as railway station platform, large tunnel, high-speed railway roadbed section, railroad-overpass and key facilities along the rail lines, a number of suggestions wereproposed. Based on the principle of applicability and reliability of system engineering theory, some application plans about perimeter safety system were put forward, which is suitable for practice of railway. The results show that the perimeter safety system is feasible, efficient and abundant in functions.

    In order to improve the operational safety level of general speed railway lines, average monthly accidents and accident linkage factors were selected as indicators for evaluating the operational safety situation of general speed railway, and a systematic cluster analysis method was used to classify the operational safety grades of the general speed railway. An empirical study was analyzed based on the data of operational safety accidents on general speed railway in a certain area of China from 2016 to 2017. The operational safety situation of the lines was divided into four grades: safety, general safety, a little bit dangerous and dangerous. The results show that the system clustering method is feasible and effective for the operational safety analysis of general speed railway, and can provide decision-making basis for the operational safety management of general speed railway.

    In order to avoid accidents effectively, the optimal operation speed of high-speed railway based on safety should be scientifically evaluated. On the basis of the analysis of the speed target value of China′s high speed railway, from four aspects of personnel, vehicle, track and environment, the speed evaluation model of high speed railway operation was set up, and the AHP was used to analyze the operating speed. Finally, taking Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway as an example, the safety based on the optimal operation speed was analyzed, and the effectiveness of the comprehensive evaluation model of high-speed railway safety operation speed was verified. The results show that the optimal operating speed of China′s high-speed rail was 300-350 km/h.

    As the railway safety operation staff, high-speed train drivers take important duty and are often under intense physical and psychological pressure. On the basis of collecting relevant operational business data of some railway transport companies, conducting surveys at units such as locomotive depots, interviewing some high-speed train drivers and carrying out survey questionnaires, the impact of single-driver duty mode on the occupational health of high-speed train drivers and the hidden danger that the health status of high-speed train drivers brings about to the safety operation of high-speed railways was researched andthe inadequacy of railway enterprises′ management and protection of high-speed train drivers′ occupational health wasanalyzed and some feasible suggestions were put forward. The results show that the requirement of the existing standards and regulations aiming for managing the occupational safety of high-speed train drivers is not clear enough. The single-driver duty mode brings out occupational health problems such as long work hours, fatigue and high psychological pressure, which needs to be further strengthened at the regulation level in order to ensure the safety and health of high-speed train drivers.

    In order to ensure the safety and progress of the transitional construction in the electrified transformation of the existing railway, taking the construction and transformation of the Daqin Railway substation and distribution station as an example, the corresponding temporary transition construction scheme was put forward in view of the characteristics of the structure layout, connection mode and the task of the transformation of the railway substation, which shortened the construction time and reduced the influence on the existing equipment and transportation. The safety risk existing in the transitional construction was analyzed and evaluated by using the risk matrix analysis method. The safety risk points and key control links were examined according to the results of the analysis, and some targeted control measures were put forward. The results show that the risks of personal safety, construction management and on-site operation occur frequently and the risk level is high in the transitional construction stage.

    In order to promote the safe operation and safety management of Chinese high-speed railway under the new situation, the safety trend and influencing factors of Chinese high-speed railway were analyzed and summarized. Among them, the lack of high-speed rail safety cognition, bad weather and geological disasters, the influence of the high-speed railway environment and the lagging of the regulation and system construction were the main factors. Under the overall framework of the influencing factors, through on-site investigation and analysis, the key safety hazards in the high-speed railway operation lines were studied, such as roadbed, bridge and tunnel foundation settlement, rail plate cracking or arch, jitter of motor car body, continuous brittle fracture of fastener, sound (wind) barrier, lack of safety protection of high-speed railway and so on. The causes of safety accidents, potential consequences and preventive measures were analyzed and proposed from the aspects of design, construction, operation and surrounding environment. The results show that field practice has verified the accuracy of cause analysis and the effectiveness of preventive measures.

    In order to innovate the safety supervision modes of high-speed railway in China, the existing regulations and standards, the focus of the supervision department and the current situation of the railway passenger service enterprises were analyzed based on the railway transport safety management, safety service chain theory and statistical analysis method. The investigation indexes of the safety of the high-speed railway station and the train passenger transport were designed. Then, the field investigation was carried out along all the high-speed lines. The research results show that the overall safety level of the Chinese high-speed railway passenger transport is good and the rate of reaching the standard exceeds 90%. However, some problems should be paid great attention, such as, the evacuation passages and the safety exits are blocked, closed, or even occupied by commercial development at some high-speed railway stations.

    In order to improve the efficiency of railway safety management, through detailed analysis of the requirements of railway safety supervision, the overall framework of the system was put forward, and the main functions and structures of the subsystems such as supervision and inspection, administrative law enforcement, accident management and emergency management in railway safety supervision and management were analyzed and designed. Considering all kinds of security problems faced by the application of mobile safety supervision in the process of access and usage, the mobile safety system of railway safety supervision and management system was designed in combination with the existing business characteristics and safety requirements. The results show that real-time, pertinence and convenience of railway safety supervision and the information safety can be effectively improved by the safety system.

    Based on the current status of China′s work safety standards and combining with the actual characteristics of the railway industry, it is necessary and urgent to discuss the establishment of railway work safety standard system from the aspects of implementation of the inevitable requirements of the Party′s central decision-making, the important guarantees for safe work of railway enterprises, and the need for industry supervision and law enforcement. Through the collection of data and extensive investigations and lessons learned from the experience and the criteria of other industries in setting up a work safety standard system, the method and format for the preparation of a work safety standard system for railways were studied. Five subsystems of the railway safety work standard system framework including basic safety standards, safety management standards, safety evaluation standards, safety technologies and occupational health standards were preliminarily constructed and the next direction of improvement is clear.

    In order to raise awareness of safe production, and strengthen the prevention of serious and major railway accidents, the related data of 12 major railway accidents from 2000 to 2017 was analyzed. The law of time distribution and geographical distribution was summarized. The catastrophe of accident consequence and the commonness of accident cause were analyzed. Combined with data analysis, the development trend of major railway accidents waspredicted. The corresponding preventive measures and suggestions were put forward according to the accident regularity and characteristics obtained from the study. The results show that the rule of major railway accidents in China exists obvious time distribution difference and the uncertainty of the geographical distribution, accident characteristics have the certain commonality and repeatability, the research result has reference value to effectively prevent accidents .

    Railway team is the main part of the railway safety production and the basic unit of production organization, the construction of railway teams is crucial. Based on the actual experience, by taking example and inductive method, the current situation of railway safety management was analyzed. In accordance with current problems, countermeasures were put forward to strengthen the team safety construction from the aspect of safety consciousness cultivation, team leader role playing, safety system construction and site management.     High-speed railway equipment is placed in public places, it will be affected by the natural environment and social environment inevitably. In addition to wind, rain, snow and geological disasters and other external force majeure factors, high-speed railway external environment problems caused by the legacy of high-speed rail before operation, external human factor, real-time monitoring is not in place and other factors impact on the safety of high-speed railway operation increasingly. According to the summary analysis of the external environment problems about multiple high-speed rail in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region during the operation, combining with the site disposal of high-speed railway external environment problem, it detailed problem causes. It is suggested to further integrate the external environmental management resources of high-speed railway, improve the related management mode to reduce the influence of external environment problems on the operation safety of high-speed railway.

    In order to identify the cause of an accident, find safety hazards, prevent similar accidents from happening again and improve the safety of railway operation, the current situations of railway accident investigation in the developed countries including the United States, Japan, France, the UK and Australia were researched and analyzedfrom the aspects of the establishment of investigation institutions, legal basis, investigation principles, procedure, techniques and report content. Based on studying some typical cases of railway accidents investigated by institutions in France, the UK and Japan, their advanced experience, features and advantages in railway accident investigation were summarized. By comparing the similarities and differences between China and abroad, the suggestion of using other countries′ investigation methods, analysis of causes and summary of experience for reference and improving the proficiency of China′s railway accident investigation is proposed.

    In order to prevent the risk of ecological environment arising from the implementation of railway planning and maintain the safety of the ecosystem, the important environmental sensitive areas in the influence of railway planning and design were selected, such as related planning, soil erosion and other environmental resource loss. The methods of comparative analysis and comprehensive index were used to predict and evaluate the potential of ecological risk, and to estimate the preliminary judgment of the scale of the railway network and layout scheme of ecological environment rationality. The results show that, after the implementation of railway planning, the potential ecological risk is slightly higher. The greatest contribution to potential risk is the ecological risk caused by soil erosion. And the risk of ecological diversity and landscape ecological risk are increased along the line, because the railway construction cuts various ecological landscapes.

    In order to improve the safety management level of high voltage equipment of electric locomotives, the risk control analysis method was applied to establish a risk matrix and a system risk assessment of high pressure equipment of electric locomotives was carried out. Combined with the fault statistics of high-voltage equipment of electric locomotives, the serious risks of high-voltage equipment of electric locomotives were identified, risk control and safety protection measures were proposed for higher risk equipment. The results show that the risk assessment study of high voltage equipment for electric locomotives can effectively assess the degree of risk and prevent the frequency of equipment failures. The safety protection technology is applied to equipment, and the frequency of equipment failures and consequences is effectively reduced. The capacity of the depot for safety control is promoted.

    In order to reduce the insecurity problem caused by uncertain factors of railway passenger transport, and improve the safety of transportation, the risk events were identified from 4 aspects of railway passenger transport personnel, equipment, environment and managementbasedon analyzing the current situation of railway passenger transport system risk management. Risk analysis and evaluation model were set up. The railway passenger safety management system was analyzed, and the risk events were determined, and then the targeted risk control strategies were formulated. The results show that, the main risk source of railway passenger transport is the personnel factor. The main cause of stampede risk is crowds at the entrance of the station and at the ticket office. The risk assessment model is helpful to improve the accuracy of risk assessment. The risk control strategies set according to the results of its evaluation can effectively reduce the occurrence of different types of risk events.

    Railway freight safety is the core content for railway freight quality. Currently, the speed of freight train has been greatly improved, the products transported have been enriched and the total amount of products has been increased, thus, the railway freight safety risk management facedmore challenges. BP nerve network algorithm has the advantages of rapid convergence, accurate calculation, and weakening the influence of human factors etc. a proper evaluation index system for risks was set up according to the potential dangers existing in railway freight safety. It quantified the sample data and reduced the data subjectivity by using the fuzzy algorithm and AHP methods, and carrying out the risk assessment and reached the corresponding conclusions via setting up BP neural network model. Taken various data of Fengtai Railway Freight Center as an example, the results show that the accuracy of predicting the result can be guaranteed by adopting the safety risk assessment model based on BP neural network.

    In order to grasp the security condition of railway luggage and parcel transportation, the influencing factors of railway luggage and parcel transportation safety were analyzed based on its characteristics of small transport volume, variety of types, and many operational links, and an evaluation system of railway luggage and parcel transportation was established. Using variable fuzzy set theory, based on the relative membership degree and relative difference function, the important consistency sorting theorem was applied to determine the weights, and the evaluation results were quantified by the level eigenvalues to improve the reliability of the evaluation results. Taking the safety evaluation of a railway station luggage and parcel as an example, the operability of the method was verified. The results show that this method has reliability and operability and can be used to evaluate the safety of railway luggage and parcel transportation.
