Abstract: In order to study research status, evolution and hotspots of safety culturology in China, 323 papers collected by CNKI from 2010 to 2019 were selected as sample data, and knowledge map was drawn by using CiteSpace software. Then, bibliometric method was adopted to analyze number of publications, journal sources, main authors, research institutions, and knowledge evolution, and also hot issues were explored. The results show that number of papers published in field of safety culturology has been in a dynamic trend. In terms of knowledge evolution, research on it has gone through three stages of expanding from safety culturology of coal mining enterprises to various industries in the past ten years, and research methods are more targeted. Based on current situation of emergency management system and capacity building, theoretical application scope of safety culturology and related disciplines will be further extended, and research method combining quantitative analysis and social science theory will become an important direction for future research.
