Abstract:

In order to address problems like poor safety of wheel coupler formwork support and difficulty in determining construction scheme, stability bearing capacity of central pole, side pole and corner pole at single layer and double layers was experimentally carried out based on normal operation stress state of the formwork support. The experiment results were analyzed and compared with finite element analysis results, and their feasibility and correctness were verified. Then, based on verified finite element model and nonlinear characteristics of semi-rigid connection joints, first-order buckling modal analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis of wheel coupler formwork support were carried out, and influence of joint bending stiffness and loading method on the support's stability was studied. The results show that along with increase of joint bending stiffness, critical load will grow bigger while overall stability of the support is better, which will be the best when central loading method is adopted.
