Application of automatic operation system for high-speed railway

Abstract: In order to improve the degree of automation and Intelligence of high-speed railway, and enable the ATO system of high-speed railway to replace the work of drivers and crew, effectively reduce the labor intensity of drivers and reduce the energy consumption of operation, firstly, combined with the definition of GOA, the present situation of ATO system of China′s high-speed railway was introduced, then the differences between ATO system of high-speed railway and FAO system of urban rail transit were presented from four aspects of system architecture, operating conditions, vehicle interface and operation management requirements. Finally, the feasibility of realizing FAO of high-speed railway was discussed. The results show that FAO is the inevitable trend of CTCS, the GOA of high speed railway can be further improved.
