Abstract: Based on the definition and benefit analysis of safety investments of civil aviation, the analysis model for airline's economic contribution rate of safety investments was built by combining the production function. The economic contribution rate of safety investments of two main airlines was calculated with the model by using the statistical economic data from the two companies. The result confirms the fact that safety investment produces output in the economy. It also shows that the safety level of civil aviation is far above the domestic average, which results from the continuous safety investment in recent years. The model of economic contribution rate can make a comparison or an evaluation of the situation of safety investments of different airlines.
