Abstract: In order to satisfy the construction of high-speed railway crossing existing lines safely, the optimal crossing scheme was selected to provide construction reference or technical support for similar projects in the future. First of all, by taking the portal pier of a super-large bridge crossing the existing railway as the analysis object, D-beam and Bailey-beam were adopted respectively for construction. Then, to obtain the optimal scheme, the traffic safety of the existing railway, the site construction risks, the construction period, the cost of crossing the existing railway construction and other aspects of two schemes were comparatively analyzed. The results show that D-beam has certain advantages over Bailey-beam scheme in operability of construction and other aspects. D-beam scheme should be adopted on the high-speed railway construction crossing existing lines, which is more conducive to site construction and achieve safety control of existing lines.
