Abstract:

In order to explore the difference in visual search preference of pseudoneglect during driving under different road grades, the experimental method of real car driving was adopted. The eye movement data (interest area, fixation duration, fixation point and pupil size) of 15 drivers driving in three real road environments (expressway, expressway, and secondary highway) were recorded to find the visual eye movement search pattern of drivers' spatial attention. The results show that the drivers first showed a slightly left-biased asymmetric spatial attention. With the increase in the complexity of road conditions (from the expressway, expressway to secondary highway), the cognitive load of drivers increased. The eye movement search of drivers' spatial attention showed a tendency from middle to right safety search mode.
