Abstract:

In order to clarify influence mechanism of PSC on unsafe behaviors of miners, based on literature research and field investigation, relationship between PSC, work-family conflicts, job burnout and unsafe behaviors was analyzed, and a hypothetical model of miners' unsafe behaviors in the context of PSC was established. Then, a survey was conducted among 1,200 front-line miners in different teams of 30 coal mines in Shanxi Province. Finally, multi-level linear analysis method was used to verify the model. The results show that PSC negatively affects work-family conflicts, job burnout and unsafe behaviors in a cross-level way. Work-family conflicts have an impact on unsafe behavior through the mediating role of job burnout, while PSC exerts an impact on job burnout through that of work-family conflicts, and exerts its impact on unsafe behaviors through that of job burnout. PSC can alleviate miners' work-family conflicts and job burnout, effectively reducing unsafe behaviors.
