Abstract:

In order to analyze the rules and characteristics of coal mine safety accidents, personal injury accidents in the production and service center of Shendong Company were taken as samples, and these accidents occurred from 2009 to 2021. Furthermore, factors that may lead to accidents were analyzed from the aspects of workers' consecutive days in wells, length of service, total frequency of unsafe behaviors, injured parts, and construction difficulty. In addition, the classification analysis method was used to classify these factors in terms of types, dimensions, and angles. Some characteristics of accidents were also summarized. Finally, suggestions were put forward for coal mine enterprises to prevent accidents. The results show that workers’ fatigue, safety awareness, safety skills, personal protection, and other key factors have obvious effects on the occurrence of accidents. Therefore, when the comprehensive management of humans, machines, and environments is strengthened, based on the physiological and psychological fatigue and fluctuation of safety awareness of specific groups, effective measures should be taken to reduce the probability of accidents.

Key words: safety accidents, unsafe behaviors, continuous mine operation, working age, safety awareness
